PAYING ONLINE WITH
PAYPAL Use the PayPal
shopping cart buttons in the bookstore to add items to your cart. When
you are finished shopping, click the "Checkout" button at the
bottom of the shopping cart window. PayPal will ask you to sign up for
an account (if you do not have one already). You can pay by credit card
or open a PayPal checking account.
Is it
SAFE to pay online using PayPal?
Here's what
PayPal has to say about their security:
"The security of your
information, transactions, and money is the core of our business and
our top priority at PayPal. PayPal automatically encrypts your confidential
information in transit from your computer to ours using the Secure Sockets
Layer protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128-bits (the
highest level commercially available). Before you even register or login
to our site, our server checks that you're using an approved browser
- one that uses SSL 3.0 or higher. Once your information reaches us,
it resides on a server that is heavily guarded both physically and electronically.
Our servers sit behind an electronic firewall and are not directly connected
to the Internet, so your private information is available only to authorized
computers."
Visit
the PayPal site and click "Help" to find out more about their
services, privacy policy, and security policy
HOW TO WORK THE PAYPAL SHOPPING
CART
On each product page is
an "Add to Cart" link. Click this link to add the product
to your shopping cart. This will open a separate window which will take
you to PayPal's site. From this window you may finalize your order,
modify the items in your shopping cart, or return to the StephanASchwartz.com
website to continue shopping. (If you are using Internet Explorer on
a Mac, the "continue shopping" button on the shopping cart
does nothing. To continue shopping, simply close the shopping cart window.)
When you have added the items you
want and wish to checkout, click the "View Shopping Cart / Checkout"
link which is at the bottom of the orderform page. This will take you
to PayPal's website (again in a separate window) to enter some more
information and submit your order.
